Our condo renovation was a very stressful process, but luckily the least stressful part was working with Zeev and Vitalii. We were given a four to six weeks estimate and they completed the renovation in four weeks and two days, which is great and we are very happy with the result.

It was a really great experience – from the very beginning when we meat Zeev for the first time, and all the way through the end, when we had our handshakes upon the project’s completion. Every aspect of the project, each step in it, every detail, question, requests, suggestion, changes, additions – all was so easy to communicate. Knowledge about condo’s rules, their specifics, readiness to follow each and all of those requirements, friendly chats, help and advise – all that was a norm during the project.
In simple words: a stressless renovation everyone would wish for.

Home Renovation Services for Disability Needs

As we step into the inclusivity era, accessibility remodeling services are a must. 27% of all adult Canadians have at least one form of disability. This makes homes, adapted for special needs, a common requirement for renovation and space redesign.

For instance, residents who use wheelchairs need zero-step entries and door widening. Bathrooms require shower seats, kitchens – adaptive countertops, bedrooms – low light switches and beds, etc. CSG Renovation carries out such repairs according to each client’s individual needs and international standards.

Our disability home renovation in Toronto complies with ADA (U.S.) or CSA B651 (Canada) standards for accessibility. Disability home renovations under these standards mean highly adaptive spaces for residents with multiple forms of disability.

      DISABILITY HOME RENOVATIONS

Bedrooms and living rooms with wide accessibility require the following solutions:

      1. Storage with easy access. Instead of standard furniture, we install new storage spaces with hanging rails, pull-out shelving, and convenient drawers.
      2. Convenient bed height. While standard beds are 16 to 24 inches in height, inclusive beds adapt to a person’s needs We find and assemble beds, convenient for all residents.
      3. Safe movement lifts. Our team uses strong ceiling materials to add lifting devices for people with mobility issues.
      4. Stairlifts or home elevators. Let us assemble a stairlift of the highest quality to the house stairs. We also offer home elevator installation for houses with enough space.
      5. Ramps. Our builders select and install ramps with easy access to people on wheelchairs.
      6. Wide doors and halls. We help you to widen the doors and hallways without sacrificing house construction. For this, our engineers build a precise working plan.
      7. Adjustable lighting. Choose bulbs that suit your demands so we’ll bring and install them in your house.
      8. Smooth flooring. We are especially careful about following in houses, where residents use wheelchairs and crutches.
      DISABILITY KITCHEN RENOVATIONS

Kitchens, with their versatile appliances and working surfaces, are especially inconvenient for disabled people. Redesign implies multiple tasks:

      1. Lowered counters. Standard surfaces are often too high for wheelchairs. We develop and install counters for individual needs.
      2. Drawer microwaves. Mounted in stoves, standard microwaves are complicated and even dangerous to reach. The drawer microwave is accessible to people of any height and residents in wheelchairs. We install them in existing furniture or put them in a new project.
      3. Pull-out shelves and drawers. Our team offers such furniture types to enable access to appliances.
      4. Induction cooktops. These devices use magnet technology and are activated only with specific tableware. We offer their installation instead of standard stoves to ensure residents’ safety.
      5. Pull-out taps. Such taps ensure water access across the kitchen, which is a matter of comfort and safety. Our plumbing specialists work with such devices.
      6. Shallow-basin sinks. Pulling the cutleries and tableware out of smooth sinks is much easier, so we included them in the project.
      DISABILITY BATHROOM RENOVATIONS

Accessible closet designs facilitate routine tasks and personal hygiene. Consider these alternatives to standard planning:

      1. Grab bars. Our bars provide additional support and stability for people with mobility issues. We offer to place them near toilets, in showers, near sinks, etc.
      2. Walk-in showers. Such showers are way more accessible than bathtubs – when planning a bathroom, we take this construction into account.
      3. Lowered sinks and vanities. We customize furniture to match the needs of residents in wheelchairs.
      4. Touchless faucets. The device eliminates the need to turn water on and off.
      5. Roll-under sinks. Such a sink construction allows people in wheelchairs to access water taps without leaving the chair. We can install a ready-made construction or develop one for you.
      6. Bidet and tall toilets. Taller toilets offer easier access, while bidets provide easier hygiene maintenance. That’s why we include them in inclusive bathroom plans.
      DISABILITY OUTDOOR RENOVATIONS

Smart home integrations. The opportunity to manage the home distantly adds another level of safety. Being outdoors or in another room, a person is still able to put the light or heating on and off. We integrate with technology according to your demands.

      1. Outdoor wheelchair-accessible modifications. They include ramps, wide pathways, and accessible parking spaces – you can order all of these from our company.
      2. Motion-activated light. Lightning is a matter of safety and convenience while outdoors, especially for people with seeing impairments. Our experts install motion-activated lights to reduce the need for outdoor light switches.
      3. Wider doorways. Gates, wickets, and doorways must be widened to fit a wheelchair. We take this task on as well.
      4. Seats and benches. Residents with mobility issues may need a place to sit while in the yard, so we install them in strategic places.
      5. Smooth pathways. Paths, made out of concrete or asphalt are easier to go through compared to soil. We recommend these materials for houses with easy access demands.
